Do patients still have to endure hours upon hours in the emergency department, as many of us have had to do in the past? Moreover, while the staff may be genuinely concerned about their patients' health, are they properly equipped with the resources they need to provide optimal care? As a member of the community, I believe it's essential to hold our healthcare facilities accountable and push for continued improvement. While Scarborough Centenary Hospital certainly has much to commend it, there is still room for growth and evolution. It's in this spirit that I encourage others to advocate for better access to healthcare in our area, working collaboratively with the hospital administration to address any shortcomings and ensure that our community continues to thrive. Ultimately, by remaining committed to improving our healthcare system, we can ensure that every member of our community has access to the care they need, when they need it, regardless of their circumstances.
